چکیده
In this paper, we formulate and solve an economic order quantity model with default risk. Our main purpose is to investigate retailer’s optimal replenishment time credit period for deteriorating items under selling price-dependent demand while maximizing profit per unit time. Here, shortages are allowed partially backlogged interested customers. We show that not only exist but they also unique. the proposed problem analytically. Optimal replenishment and credit policy in supply chain inventory model under two levels of trade credit with time- and credit-sensitive demand involving default risk
Traditional supply chain inventory modes with trade credit usually only assumed that the up-stream suppliers offered the down-stream retailers a fixed credit period. However, in practice the retailers will also provide a credit period to customers to promote the market competition. In this paper, we formulate an optimal supply chain inventory model under two levels of trade credit policy with d...
متن کاملA New Inventory Model for Deteriorating Items with Price-dependent Demand, Time-value of money, and Shortages
This paper presents a discounted cash-flow approach to an inventory model for deteriorating items with the two-parameter Weibull distribution. According to our proposed model, two shortages are considered: back-orders and lost-sales, in which the back-order rate is a varying function of the time when the shortage happens. In general, the demand rate is a linear function of the selling price...

متن کاملINVENTORY MODEL FOR DETERIORATING ITEMS WITH REVENUE SHARING ON PRESERVATION TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT UNDER PRICE SENSITIVE STOCK DEPENDENT DEMAND
The objective of this research is to tackle the emerging problem of jointly determining theoptimal retail price, the replenishment cycle, and the cost of preservation technology investment from an integrated perspective among the supplier and the manufacturer. This paper deals an integrated single-manufacturer single-retailer supply chain model for deteriorating items under revenue sharing on p...

99 Abstract— In this proposed research, we developed a deterministic inventory model for price dependent demand with time varying holding cost and trade credit under deteriorating environment, supplier offers a credit limit to the customer during whom there is no interest charged, but upon the expiry of the prescribed time limit, the supplier will charge some interest. However, the customer has...
